Amico Direct Access was founded by Laura Rosefield and Hannah Budd.
Hannah practised as a solicitor, exclusively in family law, for over 15 years, and is now a divorce consultant. Laura is a former criminal barrister and has been a Divorce Consultant for over 15 years. The combination of their experience means that together, they understand the needs of clients representing themselves and using barristers on a Direct Access basis.
They feel passionately about access to justice, and supporting clients where using the Family Court is their only option and where day to day representation by a solicitor is not affordable.
Hannah and Laura are both trained in trauma informed practice and are dedicated to making sure that clients who have experienced trauma are understood and receive the holistic support they need.
Our values
- Clarity: We use plain language, giving you direct answers and help you deploy your resources in the most effective way for your case.
- Respect for your life beyond court: We recognise that family disputes do not happen in a vacuum. You have jobs, children, and daily commitments that need attention.
- Steady guidance: We walk alongside you, rather than pulling you in every direction or leaving you isolated.
