How Hannah helped me navigate the Family Court and save on legal costs

Following my separation the arrangements for my daughter were my priority. I spent a lot of money being fully represented in relation to the Children proceedings and borrowing money to be able to do so. When it came to resolving the finances I was unable to afford a solicitor so I had to represent myself.

Hannah helped me to have the confidence to go it alone. I checked in from time to time with her to make sure I was on the right track and when I had a hearing date she helped me choose and book a direct access barrister. She helped me get my papers in order for the barrister to make it all as seamless as possible.

Hannah helped me to be pragmatic and objective when things were heated and emotional. We ultimately achieved a fair outcome for all parties, most importantly my daughter. Representing yourself isn’t always easy or for the faint hearted. When things got hairy Hannah was always at the end of the phone to reassure me.

At the end of the case my legal costs were about 20% of my wife’s.
